I studied sports therapy in 1997 and qualified in 1998 and was awarded student of the year. 

Within this course I trained in treating sports injuries, personal training, anatomy and physiology, sports and remedial massage, diet and nutrition and business studies. 

I have had some time away from doing massage, but I am now carrying out the above treatments at Beauty Lounge on Ansdell Road Blackpool.

I offer the above treatments Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and Saturdays.

At the Beauty Lounge we offer a wide variety of other treatments and we also supply Tropics products. 

I have always been interested in how the body functions and I used to manage gymnasiums some years ago, when I was able to teach others various fitness classes and I also carried out personal training daily. 

As for my nails I initially did a nail technician course in 1999 and I have done my own nails since (apart from times where I wanted to be pampered myself) but now for the last 18 months I have learnt new techniques, carried out further courses and now I’m doing nails full time. I really enjoy the challenges when girls bring photos of what they would like. 

You are never too old to learn new skills and here I am enjoying my job for the first time in years.
